Translation in the field of education is not always easy as it requires preparation and deep understanding of educational various concepts. Some of these concepts do not exist in Arabic language so the translator is required to enter a new term or word in language or in the jargon glossary of education.
Innovative and bold projects of education promotion are taking place in some Arab states that have financial ability to afford such project, however, in other part of the Arab nation, some states strive to provide decent and high level education to its citizens, anyway, the education enhancement process faces a variety of obstacles amongst which the following:
- Traditions that constitute a barrier for the development of critical thinking of students, some issues are considered tabou and unquestionable subjects while in other cultures such issues are banal and tolerated.
- Stereotypes and political corruption, people tend to respect officials although they are not elected democratically and exercise their powers depending on the extent of their tribe's influence.
- People do not have the courage to say NO to superiors if they are mistaken by fear of loosing their support and for sake of favoritism.
- Government does not help people enough building their own projects of investment, lot of taxes are imposed on any entrepreneurship, wrong allocation of budget money, corruption and exploitation of public posts.
